Symptoms of Inflammatory Breast Cancer: Awareness Can Save Lives

Symptoms of Inflammatory breast cancer are different from the routine kinds of breast cancers that we generally see. Most patients with present with a lump that they feel in their breasts or an abnormal mammogram. Rarely, they present with an abnormal breast ultrasound or an abnormal MRI scan. Inflammatory breast cancers are unique and are a challenge to both patients and most primary care physicians which many times leads to delay in the diagnosis and treatment of such patients.

The symptoms of inflammatory breast cancers typically mimic an infection of the involved breast, also called mastitis. It is easy to attribute the changes of redness, swelling, pain and bloody nipple discharge as being due to an infection. It is common knowledge that cancers of the breasts are painless, so when these painful symptoms are felt by the patient, they feel reassured that they are not dealing with breast cancer. Many primary care physicians usually go along with the diagnosis of mastitis and prescribe several trials of antibiotics. Weeks go by while the pain and swelling continue to worsen to a point when a surgical opinion is obtained.

Examination of the breast that would lead to a suspicion of inflammatory breast cancer include

1. Diffuse redness with the skin having an orange peel appearance in texture and thickness. This is attributed to the involvement of cancer cells below the skin of the breast.

2. A mass within the breast may not be felt.

3. The breast is extremely tender and painful.

4. Bloody nipple discharge and retraction of the nipple is seen often.

5. Enlarged lymph nodes in the arm pit area.

The definitive way of confirming Dr Vikas Goswami inflammatory breast cancer is through a surgical biopsy and confirmation of the diagnosis in a pathology lab.

Do all patients with inflammatory changes in their breast be worried about Inflammatory Breast Cancer?

The resounding answer is..NO! Infections of the breast are fairly common especially in lactating mothers. A short trial of antibiotics should be tried initially as well as local care such as warm compresses. If the symptoms do not subside within a few days, the patients should be evaluated very quickly by a qualified surgeon for further evaluation. Remember, the incidence of inflammatory breast cancers is only 2 to 5% of all breast cancer that are diagnosed at any given time. So, they are NOT very common.

Women need to be aware of this entity and take appropriate action while not forgetting that mammograms, breast self exams and regular medical check ups are still the key to early detection and better cure rates for cancer of the breast.

Writing to Celebrities For Autographs

One of the easiest ways to build a collection of autographed celebrity photos is to ask the celebrities themselves for the photos. Sending out these autographed photos is actually a very smart career move for these celebrities as it helps to build their fan base and get people excited and talking about these celebrities. It only makes sense for these celebrities to honor the requests of their fans and keep them happy. If you are looking to get an autographed celebrity photo from one of your favorite stars, there are only a few simple steps which you will need to take!

First, you should write a short letter to the celebrity, expressing your admiration of their talent and ask for an autographed photo which you can add to your collection. If your letter is Southern Charm Star Kathryn Dennis Plans New Holiday Traditions After Death Of Her Mother & Nasty Custody Battle With Thomas Ravenel concise and respectful, there will be no reason for the celebrity to deny your wishes. One of the main jobs of a celebrity is to keep their fans happy, for a happy fan ensures an interest in their career for a long time to come. If a celebrity goes out of their way to ignore or disrespect a fan, this will not bode well for their public image.

Secondly, whenever writing to request an autographed celebrity photo, you should include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. This is only polite as you are asking the star to send you something. You shouldn’t ask that celebrity to pay for the postage as well. By sending a self-addressed stamped envelope, you are greatly increasing your chances of receiving a reply from your favorite celebrity with something special inside. This envelope will ensure that not only will the celebrity and their team not have to pay for the postage to send the autographed photo back to you, but that the envelope will be correctly address and not sent somewhere else by mistake.

Many people will also recommend that you send a photo for the celebrity to sign. If the celebrity that you request a photo from doesn’t happen to have any photos on hand, your request may get lost in the shuffle. Additionally, by sending a photo, all you are requesting from the celebrity is their autograph. They will not need to supply anything other than a small fraction of their time. With so much to gain and nearly nothing to lose, any celebrity will take this small amount of time and effort to make their fans happy.

The most important thing to remember when collecting autographed celebrity photos is to always be respectful of the star. By giving them as little to do as possible to make you happy, the chances of them doing so are much greater. Any celebrity would be happy to please a fan and when very little needs done to accomplish this task, many celebrities would be delighted at the opportunity. You must remember that these people are celebrities only because of fans like you and, while remaining respectful of them, you can easily encourage them to show their appreciation with an autograph.

Using Movie Software in a Digital Age

Movie software used to be simple. All you needed to do was input the movies you owned, arrange them by name or director, and then try to get your physical library to look like that as well. But the invention of digital movie files seems to indicate that you need to do things a bit differently. While you can still arrange files in the same way, what happens when you don’t have physical movies on hand? There are a few ways to make sure you’re a part of the digital revolution and a new breed of movie software.

Is Digital Here to Stay?

It’s safe to say that movies are going to be in digital format more than traditional format in the future. With the invention of different personal electronics and various tools, movie software is going to be necessary for all of the digital files you will be able to download and store. That said, you will probably not need to convert completely to digital until the movies aren’t sold in stores anymore. But since movies123 many companies profit from these movies, this is going to take a time before this actually happens. However, this is something that might be on the horizon, so there’s no harm in trying to manage your electronic clutter now instead of later.

Organizing Files Versus Movie Boxes

When you’re organizing files, there are a few things you need to do differently in order to make sure that you’re creating a movie software system that makes sense:

  • Create a few folders – You will want to limit the folders you create on your computer. This will make it easier for you to find the movies you want when you want them. You will also want to make sure that you’re creating a system that more than one person can use. If it only makes sense to you, it might not make sense to others.
  • Include all of your movies – You should include every single movie you own because if you don’t, and you’re looking for a certain movie, you might be stumped as to where it is and why you can’t find it.
  • Label your files effectively – If you have movie files, make sure the movie file names are the movie titles. This will help you more easily organize and then find the files you have.

How to Use Movie Software Effectively

When you’re using movie software, you will want to make sure that you’re reading all of the instructions first before installing it. Doing so will help you avoid any troubles with the program and you will be able to see if your computer is equipped for the program. You will also want to make sure that you are following all of the directions, even if you don’t like to do so. These will help you to make the most of the applications and the ways that the movie software is organized to help you get organized.

Reasons Why It’s Time For You To Rent Movies Online

There was a time, in the not so distant past, when a trip out to your local video store with the family was a weekly or monthly treat. If you were fortunate enough to have a bigger video rental store that had multiple copies of new releases and thousands of DVDs on hand, there was a good chance you could find movies to suit everyone. But a few things have happened since those days that have rendered video rental stores all but obsolete.

For starters, big box outlets such as Blockbuster have been driven out of the bricks and mortar video rental business to seek salvation online. For most of us, our video stores are nothing more put locker than corner convenience stores with a few hundred movies on hand at any time. Space is at a premium for these guys so they can only afford to have a few copies of new releases along with a smattering of older movie rental titles on hand at any time. It’s a bit frustrating to drive out only to find the movie you had your heart set on is always out.

In addition, next day returns and the inconvenience that it implies, usually finds us racking up late fees that often would have worked out cheaper for us if we’d bought the DVD instead. And what if you’re heading out on a road trip or to the cottage for a weekend – 24 hour rental periods just don’t cut it for a lot of us. And what about the actual rental fee? $3 or more per movie rental? Everyone with a cable or satellite subscription has access to pay-per-view movie rentals, and the concept is quite sound. The downside is that typical pay-per-view rentals cost $5 or more. I’m not sure the convenience is worth that much more.

Maybe it’s time you rent movies online!

Why? Well, rather than run on about online movie rental and why it’s the right option for you, allow me to state my case with the following list of 10 Reasons It’s Time For You To Rent Movies Online!

1. Selection. If you rent movies online from instant movie streaming or DVD by mail providers, you will generally have access to anywhere from a few thousand up to 80,000+ movie and TV titles to choose from. Your local video store probably can’t hold a match to that kind of selection.

2. Availability. In all but a few rare exceptions, the movie you want is always available. Most DVD by mail services have hundreds of copies of individual movie titles on hand. Instant movie streaming services like Netflix have no limitation on how many subscribers watch individual movie titles. If you rent movies online, your favorites are almost always available.

3. Savings. When you rent movies online from DVD by mail services, they typically have subscription plans that allow several DVD rentals, some even unlimited, per month for monthly fees as low as $5.95. Even if you only rent movies online only twice per month, you are already ahead. With instant video streaming services, typical plans run from about $8+ per month or, if you opt for a per rental provider such as iTunes or YouTube, you will typically pay $0.99 – $3.99 per online movie rental. Though the latter may be close in price to what you are currently paying at your local video store, you need to factor in both points 1 and 2 (Selection, Availability) and, more importantly, point 4 which is “Convenience”.

4. Convenience. Your local video outlet or convenience store will never be as easy for you as when you rent movies online. Bottom line – shopping for an online movie rental from your computer, tablet or TV means you never have to leave the house for movie night again. And online movie rental providers are open 24/7 which means, you can rent movies online anytime you want, day or night, from just about anywhere. Instant video streaming services allow you to choose a movie and start watching right away. DVD by mail services will deliver movies to your mailbox, for free, within 1 – 3 days.

5. No late fees – ever! This is a big one for me and perhaps for you as well. When you rent movies online from instant video streaming services you generally have up to 30 days to start watching your movie and 24 to 48 hours to watch it as often as you like. After that period has elapsed, the rental is automatically deleted from your rental library. If you rent movies from an unlimited subscription provider such as Netflix then there is no limitation on the number of times you watch a movie and you never have to remember to return it. On the DVD by mail side, they don’t have due dates or late fees. Instead, they usually put a cap on how many DVD movies you can rent at one time. You can hold on to them for days, weeks or months and send them back when you are done. This is especially handy when renting children’s movies as, we all know, they could watch the same movie several times a day for days on end.

Small Towns Without Movie Theaters Show Movies Outdoors

Outdoor movie events bring the movie theater experience outside to create a fun and unique cinema experience. Modern equipment allow outdoor movie viewers to enjoy the same high quality experience enjoyed by traditional movie house patrons. For towns without movie theaters, outdoor movies are a great alternative.

Currently, there are small towns all over the country without cinema complexes. By 2013, more small movie-picture theaters could be closing their doors when the movie industry switches to all-digital technology. Films will no longer be released in traditional 35 millimeter film prints, and theaters without the technology to show digital films will be forced to shut down. The cost of converting to digital in a movie house is around $65,000, leaving this conversion out of reach for many small, older movie theaters.

There are already many towns without a motion picture theater, and this change will lead to more. Residents of towns like this are left with the options of missing out on these movies123 movies or traveling to a town with a movie theater. Portable inflatable cinema technology gives these communities another option: outdoor cinema.

Inflatable movie screens are available in a variety of sizes to fit into many different locations, and accommodate small or large crowds. High quality theatrical screens and HD projectors, along with clear sound, bring the movie theater experience to any location. An outdoor movie can be held almost anywhere; holding it at a historic site or downtown can enhance the experience and make it more special for the community.

Going out to see a new movie with friends or family is a completely different experience than watching it at home. Small towns without theaters and those that stand to lose a theater with the digital conversion will be missing out. Outdoor cinema technology can provide a replacement that sometimes proves to be even better than a traditional movie theater.

Movies under the stars provide entertainment and can bring a community together. Event organizers can take their pick of locations, maybe a popular community park, or another location that is special to the community. An outdoor cinema also allows community members to come together and watch a movie all at the same time, rather than being limited by the size of a movie theater. Outdoor movies are being shown in communities all over, to provide a unique cinema experience. For towns without traditional movie theaters, outdoor cinema is even more special. In these towns, outdoor movies replace the movie theater experience by providing another cinema option.

Survival Movies – The Cream of the Crop and Those That Didn’t Shine

The popularity of survival movies has really grown over the past couple of years. I have rated these movies in three different categories. The categories are: realisticness, survival value and entertainment factor. Each of these is on a A – F Grading Scale with A being best and F being worst. These ratings are all based on my opinion so you may not feel the same.

Waterworld – Realisticness – D Survival Value – D Entertainment factor – C+
The Earth is now filled with water, but some people believe there is still dry land on the earth. This is one of the many survival movies about the fight over resources. As in many 123movie movies, this is a fight between the protagonist (Kevin Costner) and the antagonist (Dennis Hopper) and his cronies (called the smokers). This movie is fun to watch but I don’t feel it was realistic or offered much in the way of survival value.

The Postman – Realisticness – B Survival Value – C Entertainment factor – B
I feel the reviews of this movie by critics don’t give it justice. In this film, the United States is a very different place with little order. Many people have gone back to a dark ages style of living with no electricity, very little law, and a tyrant thug (Will Patton) trying to gain power. The protagonist (Kevin Costner), a drifter, finds a way to make a difference in the world even though he is originally only worried about his own livelihood and well – being. This was a very long movie, but I really enjoyed it and liked its sense of hope. I thought this movie offered decently realistic insight on what could happen with a breakdown of society and numerous years of lawlessness. It had a few areas that I think gave it some survival value, but overall, it was just one of the entertaining survival movies.

The Road – Realisticness – A Survival Value – B Entertainment factor – C
While I didn’t feel this was one of the survival movies that lived up to my expectations, I feel it accurately portrayed the emotional rollercoaster that an end of the world situation would create. The characters in this movie were not able to trust anyone around them, and they lacked the resources necessary to carry on a normal life, which could be an accurate outcome in a real societal breakdown. I think this movie, while being boring in some spots, felt very realistic and showed the dreary outlook of the main character (Viggo Mortenson) in a post apocalyptic world with no hope. On the survival value front, I thought there were some topics to take away from the story line that would be useful in real life. I felt that this movie allowed me to realize that striving for happiness and wishing to live life to the fullest despite terrible circumstances is key to beating the end.

I am Legend – Realisticness – C Survival Value – B –
Entertainment factor – B This is another of the survival movies that I think showed great emotion. The main character (Will Smith) and his dog attempt to survive throughout this film despite the constant threat of zombies. I will say this movie has one of the saddest scenes in any movie I have ever seen, which makes the whole movie worth watching. This survival movie really shows you how important a companion is when you are lonely. Other than the importance of companionship, there were only a few survival lessons to be learned.

Book of Eli – Realisticness – C Survival Value – C
Entertainment factor – B I felt Book of Eli with Denzel Washington and Mila Kunis was worth the watch. This survival movie showed how important being aware of your surroundings is. Also in a disaster ridden world it shows how there will be people that will take power any way they see fit. The use of religion to control people is what the antagonist (Gary Oldman) uses to gain power. If you are a Christian or are religious this is definitely an important movie to watch because it shows how people can use religion and the Bible for good as well as evil to push their own motives. Even so, in the end, this movie didn’t show the Bible or Christianity in a bad light. I thought the lesson of being aware was the best survival value it gave.

Classic Hollywood Romances

Well, does anyone of us ever come to think of Hollywood’s most memorable romance classics spanning decades? As an ardent admirer of romance and the alluring Hollywood musicals, I unmistakably feel my pulses rising with the sheer magic and aura of the timeless romances portrayed so very lovingly in the silver screen of the yesteryears. Be it the ever-touching saga of star-crossed lovers meeting during wartime under the Moorish arches of Rick’s Café American in “Casablanca”, or the sweeping melodrama, “Gone With The Wind”– based on Margaret Mitchell’s bestselling Civil War epic (which defined the term “Hollywood blockbuster”), I have an insatiable appetite for each of them.

Oh how can I ever forget the sweeping emotions of the magic of a shipboard romance which charms a Frenchman and American woman (Charles Boyer and Irene Dunne, respectively) into each other’s arms in the ever-memorable “Love Affair”? Or do you 123movies remember that phenomenal romance between Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr in “An Affair To Remember”, where a man and a woman meet on a ship crossing an ocean and fall in love, only to part ways, promising to meet dramatically on the top of Empire State Building, New York (which unfortunately, doesn’t happen later)? Equally unforgettable to my mind is the all-time epic love saga, “Roman Holiday”, which happens to be the most priceless transient romance between a disguised princess and a handsome American reporter (Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, respectively).

When you come to think of candlelight romances, serenading, wooing the beloved or star-crossed epic love sagas, you would obviously mark the romantic chemistry between the lover and his beloved as the quintessential foundation behind these wonderful, witty and immensely touching tales of true love. Interestingly, the success of these blockbusters in romance in Hollywood comes from incorporating core elements of Hollywood (especially the music), classical romance elements and a degree of sentimentality which, again, is quite stylishly sophisticated in nature.

The 50’s and 60’s were the hey days of classic romance in Hollywood, when ethos, pathos, happy endings, heart-wrenching goodbyes and romantic love scenes along with power-packed performances by some of Hollywood’s heartthrobs like Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh and Marilyn Monroe were the staple of every young heart. Now, I would rather not attempt this article as a primer of cinematic history comprising the best films of all times from the classic romance genre, for that is the job of an encyclopedia and not that of a human. And these days, you are sure to get plentiful of those online. So I would limit my writing to the discussion of only some of the milestones of our cinematic past, the era and the cultural milieu behind the production of these masterpieces, which again, comes from the sheer love I feel towards these movies.

While today, Warner Bros., Twentieth Century Fox, MGM and Columbia (Sony) are some of the pioneers in Hollywood film production and distribution, in the yesteryears, Paramount Pictures, the longest-lived American movie studio, used to lead the arena of American motion picture production and distribution. Those were the blissful times when the Hollywood studio system produced classic movies embodying a refined, evocative method of storytelling that left something to the audience’s imagination. While this was true right from the early nineteen hundred and thirties’ till the sixties’, the audience those days were fed on films which did adhere to certain standards of discretion and used established cinematic devices to imply what they could not say explicitly. Without an iota of blatant sensory stimulations, the sheer use of compelling stories and characters, snappy dialogue, high production values (including those of cinematography, editing, shot composition, scoring, sets and costuming) and above all, extra-ordinary acting prowess of the stars those days gave birth to some of the most celebrated reel romances of all times, including “Gone With the Wind”, “West Side Story”, “Casablanca”, “Roman Holiday”, “My Fair Lady” and “An Affair to Remember”.

The 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, combined, was also the era producing the greatest silver screen legends like Marlon Brando, Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracy, the irresistibly handsome Cary Grant and the super charismatic Gregory Peck, the celebrated smidgens Katharine Hepburn and Bette Davis, Ingrid Bergman, Sofia Lauren, Audrey Hepburn, and the ravishing Greta Garbo and Marilyn Monroe. Interestingly enough, did you know that recently the AFI has ranked the greatest love stories of the first century of American cinema, with “Casablanca” attaining the numero uno position? “Gone With The Wind” and “West Side Story” come only next to it among the greatest reel classics of America.

The Right Movie Choice Netflix

There are many advantages and disadvantages to being a member of Netflix as with any other movie rental service. In my personal opinion, the advantages definitely over ride the disadvantages when it comes to Netflix. Being able to view more movies than I imagined is something I love about Netflix. So you may wonder why I think Netflix is so wonderful. Well, if you are considering joining Netflix, I will give you even more reasons in this article. Netflix has an astronomical amount of movies to choose from. Have you ever went to a movie store and walked around looking for a movie until you became utterly frustrated with the available selection? You would love to watch an interesting movie but aren’t having any luck finding one. Well, just think, if you join Netflix you can simply type in your title or complete a search, and your movie selection is right at your fingertips.

Netflix is very convenient and simple to use. By using this service, there are no trips needed to the movie store. The movies now come to me instead. Once I pick out the movies I want to watch, I have nothing else to do except wait for the movies to arrive in my mailbox. Netflix is very inexpensive in comparison to movie store rentals. If I were to rent as many movies at a movie store as I have at Netflix, I would go broke. I can watch more movies at an even lower price. Netflix permits you to enjoy a free trial period of 14 days. If you are not positive you want to join, you can take advantage of this free trial period. If after your 14 days you are not satisfied, the only thing you need to do is cancel your subscription.

By subscribing to Netflix, you are allowed to download movies onto your personal computer. Even more interesting, you can also purchase products which will allow you to stream movies directly to your own TV. By doing this, you have no waiting period. The movies123 only disadvantage is that the selection isn’t as vast (even though it is growing). I envision Netflix being the online movie download site in the future. Your movies will arrive very quickly when renting from Netflix. Netflix now has 47 shipping centers within the United States. Typically, you should receive your movie within one business day. This is much faster than other movie rental services on today’s market. Have you ever rented movies and realized that one of the movies had a particular scene missing? Well, that’s because you just watched an edited version of that movie. Netflix never edits any of their movies. All of their movies are always unedited.

The Best Car Movies

All of us love movies, no matter how old or how new or what type all of us love movies. Why? Because movies are entertaining they give us a good story. Now there have been many car movies made, but which one is the best car movie? We will judge car movies based on the cars in the movie, the car scenes, and the racing.

10. Hot Rod Girl (1956) – I am not sure whether this movie was meant to be an anti-hot rodding movie or not. The plot isn’t much guys brother dies, the city wants to stop hot rodding and the kids still want to race. Since this is 1956 there has to be a chicken game right (it was a law in 50’s Hollywood). In the movie there are a few 32 Fords (actually a lot of 32 Fords), a 56 Chevy, a 56 Ford, 55 T-bird, and an Olds 88.

9. Death Proof (2007)- The first half of this movie maybe seem a bit boring, its mostly talking and just a bunch of girls drinking in a bar (not even a wild bar party, just a group of 3 girls drinking) but then it gets good, with a 71 Chevy Nova used as a weapon and later a car chase with a 69 Charger and a 70 Vanishing Point Challenger. The movie is meant to feel like a 70’s Slasher movie crossed with Vanishing Point. If you’re a Mopar guy check this one out!

8. Road Racers (1994)- This movie is called Road Racers however they is only one short race in the movie, and 2 Car Chases. The movie opens with a Car chase between a 56 Chevy being chased by the cops 56 Buick all to a badass Rockabilly song! There is greaser violence (not Grease greaser violence but like the Outsiders with a 90’s humor twist), there is great Rockabilly music from Glen Glenn, Hasil Adkins and Johnny Reno!

7. Thunder Road (1958) – Let me tell the story, I can tell it all… Actually let’s let Robert Mitchum tell you the story he can do it better. This movie starring Mitchum is about Running Moonshine in Tennessee in the 50’s and trying not to get caught be the revenuers. It has a number of crazy car chases featuring a 50 Ford Coupe, 57 Ford Fairlane, a 56 Chevy undercover car that can rip off cars bumpers and a song 123 movies about the movie performed by Mitchum himself!
6. Dazed and Confused (1993) – I’ve been Dazed and Confused for so long its not true! Which sadly that song is not in this movie (it was suppose to be and Jimmy Paige was for it but Plant wasn’t). This movie is kind of like the 70’s version of American Graffiti except it’s the first night of summer not the last and the main character is entering High School. Anyway they is a car chase between a 64 Buick and 72 Chevy Truck, there is a 70 Chevelle SS 454, 70 GTO Judge, Ford Maverick, 37 Oldsmobile and a 74 Trans Am!
